5 Snaps

I thought I would do a week in review type of post. 

We have had some awesome weather so that calls for iced coffees, delicious fruits and cute summer clothes. We got the chance to check out a local beach too. Took the kids and the guys did some fishing. It's nice getting out of the city and relax with friends. This week I am planning our camping trip. Can't wait to go at the end of the month.

Lakeside

Yesterday we spent the day at the lake. I love getting away from the city and just relax without all that  city noise. I grew up in the country so it's what I am used to.
The guys went fishing and we hung out at the beach and played with M.

Fitness

I have been trying to work more on my fitness. If you know me then you know how much I do despise working out. I can go through spurts of being able to put my mind to it but that usually doesn't last very long.

If I can bring myself to working out then I usually will go for a run/ walk and do some squats and planks. That is pretty much it. Tonight I went for a walk and was looking for some places to take some photos for some outfit posts. I wanted to take some photos of my workout outfit so i brought my tripod along but of course I forgot the attachment for the camera. So I ended up taking some selfies and well some of these shots. 

Going to catch up on some Devious Maids now and have a chill night.

This week went by pretty quick! I got a few things in the mail and wanted to share with you guys.
I got this necklace from Happiness Boutique! How fabulous is this. The perfect piece for a night out or simply dressing up a plain white T.

On of my goals is that I want to start learning more about my camera and how to use it in manual settings. I've been fascinated with photos lately. I was so used to shooting videos with it that I never had to take the time to study all the other functions. But you guys will be able to witness the progress I make with hopefully better pictures every day, here on my blog and especially my Instagram!

Hey Loves,
Today was a great day to just chill out in my backyard, get some much needed sun and relax. My best friend came over and we went to get some lunch. Got a slight sun burn too... i know, so bad!!!
Now I am watching some more of Switched at Birth! Any other shows you can recommend?

Inspiration

It's hump day and I am anticipating the weekend. Finally I will be off again! I live for the weekends. I went to the dentist this morning. Gotta love those visits. Especially when they tell you that your wisdom tooth needs to be pulled! Yay! In two weeks it's on!

Denim x Old Navy

It's Friday guys, finally! Does everyone live for the weekends? Even if it means I have to work on Saturdays. Having Sunday in close reach is good enough for me.

I took M. for a walk and took a couple of shots of my outfit. I love this denim jacket from old navy. My bestie got it for me for my birthday. It such a great fit. I always love being casual and comfy over being dressy. It's prefect!

Everyday Makeup Essentials

Today's post is going to be all about my everyday makeup items. 

A few days ago I went to sephora, which I mentioned in my previous post. It's so hard making decisions in store. So many brands and pretty colours and shades of lipsticks! Every girls dream! 

Lately I have been going for a more natural look. Maybe it's the summer, maybe it's just me. Funny enough I started my YouTube channel with makeup tutorials and everything regarding beauty. It's evolved ever since into a well rounded beauty, fashion, lifestyle and DIY channel. I find myself using the same products everyday. I can't stand having an abundance of cluttered half empty makeup palettes and half empty foundations lying around. So I choose to start one and finish it. You learn to love certain products so you keep buying the same ones. Recently it's been more about quality than quantity for me, so I have been spending a bit more on my everyday products.

Today is such a beautiful day and I get to spend it at home. Lucky Me! Of course I stay busy and get things done on my days off so I scheduled an appointment for this morning to get my tint fixed in my new car! Absolutely love driving an Audi A4 since I have been wanting one for so long.

Right now I am taking some time to lay outside and get some much needed colour.

Later on I have plans to go shopping at Sephora with my friend. Hopefully I make up my mind in store faster than I do on their shopping app. I can never decide what to get. 

I thought I would show you guys my first outfit for my blog. It's perfect for a shopping date on a hot summer day.

Goodbye 20's

Yesterday was my birthday. Kind of a big deal, I know! Lol

Whenever those big birthdays come around, the ones you dread, I seem to reminisce and think of how the years just fly by. 

It's important to take time and realize how blessed I am. I have had quite the exciting life and always felt like one day everyone would know where I came from and how I got here. With social media having evolved so much I have found a platform to share my life with all of you. 

Long story short. I lived on 2 different continents, travelled to and through 14 countries, was in pageants as a child, attended university and college, married my best friend & the most amazing of all - became a mom! 

The last being my greatest accomplishment.
